PRIDEnet and the All of Us Research Program National Sexual and Gender Minority Network want to learn about your community’s health concerns, your questions and concerns about health research, and your communication and technology preferences as we help the historic All of Us Research Program welcome LGBTQ folks from around the country. We want to know more about things like:
What worries you about your community’s health?
What can medical providers and researchers do to improve health in our communities?
What would motivate you to participate in research?
What are your most trusted sources of health information?
What technology do you use at home?
Who
Folks aged 18 and older who identify as a sexual or gender minority and live in and around Nashville. Our facilitator is Mahri Bahati, MPH, Engagement Navigator for the All of Us Research Program National Sexual and Gender Minority Engagement Network.
Why
We need to know more. Lack of information on our social, mental, and physical health is a barrier to creating better services and policies for our communities. We’ve never been included before in a federal study like this from the beginning and we want to make sure that LGBTQ people feel great about participating. You can help.

PRIDEnet is a network of LGBTQ-serving organizations that promotes LGBTQ health research. We’re based at the University of California, San Francisco. Our signature project is The PRIDE Study, the first long-term on-line cohort of LGBTQ people around the country and US Territories. We also engage LGBTQ people in the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program. This is the first time LGBTQ people have been included in a federal health study in this way from the beginning.
