The Tennessee Equality Project has three days of Advancing Equality on the Hill. This is an opportunity for people who live and work in Tennessee to meet with Tennessee legislators to talk about LGBTQ equality. The second date is March 6, 2018, and we encourage our members to attend on this day.
Attendees should RSVP with both TEP and the LGBT Chamber. We will be sending our members the economic data associated with bills like we have in Tennessee like the bathroom bill and a license to discriminate bill.
Our members will use the existing TEP sign up forms and schedule to meet with their elected officials. TEP will post those schedules on the Facebook event page.
This is not an all day event. You only need to attend during the meeting time with your elected official. While we welcome our Davidson County residents, it is very important that we get attendees who live and vote in our neighboring counties, like Rutherford, Wilson, Williamson, Cheatham, Sumner, Robertson.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact the LGBT Chamber or TEP at info@tnequalityproject.com
